She is always with me

I am already older and have lived alone since my mother passed away. I have a little cat named Nora. She is my companion, and I talk to her. She is always with me, and I don’t mind saying that she sleeps cuddled up next to me. Except for one night when I got up to go to the bathroom and found her sleeping inside the sink.

My cats, my best friends. My cat Silke left us a year and a half ago after spending 15 years with us. Without a doubt, it was the worst day of my life. I will never forget her. She was like my protector, always looking out for me. She followed me everywhere. During my pregnancy, she spent the entire nine months next to my belly, and when my baby was born, she never left his side—even sleeping with him in the crib. She will always be in my heart.

What I feel for my kitten Kira is so great. Good love, the connection I have with her is so much, that she is part of me... I love her

What luck we both had. He was my salvation after a great and painful loss, and I saved him from being abandoned on the street when he was just a few days old. Since then, we have been inseparable. Thank you, Caramelo.

I have a rescued galgo who came into my life scared to death. A few months later, I had a stroke and then depression. My little dog was the only one who managed to calm me down. She became inseparable and with the strongest connection of my life. They say I saved her by rescuing her, but she really saved me.

They have always been there to give me love. During the lockdown, which I spent alone (and not in the best way), they were my best company. What didn’t matter left my home, and my three cats became my true companions.

It was a mutual rescue. Two months ago we lost our 15-year-old pet (Eléctrico). My parents, who are elderly, did not leave the house, especially my father who was very sad and lay down all day. I saw an ad from the shelter that they needed an urgent foster home for an abused dog that the owners had thrown out on the street. When I saw the ad, I didn't hesitate to get in touch to be a foster home, once he entered the house he helped us heal in our grief and we helped him to trust human beings again. He enlightened us and got some sedentary people to become active again. I have to say that for me, having a furry companion at the foot of my bed again is very comforting and therapeutic. Thank you, Bruce.
